We’re expanding to make carbon filters more sustainably

We’ve picked up the keys to our fifth manufacturing plant in Bridgwater as part of our ongoing plans to become more sustainable (January 2025).

We’ll use our new Colley Lane Industrial Estate site to manufacture carbon filters.

Ongoing sustainability

Graham Bentley, our Chairman explains “This expansion is part of our ongoing sustainability drive. We have been bonding carbon filters for many years and that uses two ovens and a considerable amount of LPG and therefore produces CO2 emissions.

Net Zero

“We have designed a new process for making carbon filters, which will use a method that does not use heat and therefore reduces our carbon footprint in our race to Net Zero. Not only does this highlight our commitment to our planet but also represents our ongoing expansion plans in Bridgwater.”

New plant

The new plant at Cherry Orchard, Colley Lane Industrial Estate, is 4,200 square feet and will take our total manufacturing space in Bridgwater to more than 103,000 square feet.

Why carbon filters?

Our carbon filters are used for air pollution control and odour removal in a wide variety of places from airports, kitchens and museums to nail bars.
